Frederic’s U.S Geography Journal
We were one of the lucky 5th grades across America to receive Frederic Paquette’s traveling US Geography Journal! Frederic lives in Chestnut Ridge, New York, about 45 minutes away from New York City! He sent his traveling journal first to a school in California. From there it traveled to a fifth grade in Missouri before being sent to Texas. From there it was sent to us! We were asked to describe our state and the weather, plants and animals of our area as well as local places of interest. Ms Janet, Mackenzie, Davis and Jacque wrote in the journal before we sent it on to a 5th grade in Crested Butte, Colorado.
