Stop Hunger Now!

On April 10th the M.D.C.S students of 5th grade went to pack food for kids in Haiti. We were accompanied by our middle school students, parents, our teacher, and her children. This event was located at the Waynesville Middle School.
The food we packed included soy, rice, vitamins, and dehydrated vegetables. All the food was placed in plastic bags then heat sealed and boxed for shipment. Stop Hunger Now was the organization that sponsored this event. They also provided transportation for the food.
The 5th grade loved the experience of packing food for the Haitian kids and wish we could do it again.
