This is a functional curriculum based on classroom, home, and community environments and is useful for elementary school through high school. Thoroughly researched and field-tested, it is the officially adopted curriculum of several states. The curriculum includes instruction in Daily Living Skills, Personal-Social Skills, and Occupational Guidance and Preparation.
"Helping Exceptional Children Reach Their Potential in the Least Restrictive Environment"
A new year…….a new direction!
Everyone in the EC Department is excited to start the new school year. We have added a new member to our staff and have several ”old” members returning. Our new staff member is Anne Jeter. The returning staff members are Lynn Varian, and Jill Blake, Jennifer Pitney, Lisa Murphy, Sarah Rave and Todd Niedfelt. Together we will make this the best school year ever for our students.
The EC Department‘s goal this year is to focus and meet each student’s individual needs while allowing them to stay with their peer group as much as possible. We will do a lot of inclusion and co-teaching throughout the grade levels. Please feel free to contact the EC department with any questions or concerns.
