• 1 (8” x 11”) wide ruled (70 page) spiral bound notebook

First Grade

2010-2011 FIRST GRADE SUPPLY LIST
Welcome to an exciting new year in First Grade

• 10-Pack Crayola Markers (both sizes) – put in ziplock labeled with student’s name
• 2 durable glossy pocket folders (without brads, the kind with Spiderman or Unicorn or some fancy picture) – Label with name
• 2 boxes facial tissues
• 1 regular clipboard (not the kind that has inside storage) - Label with name
• Glue sticks (not labeled with name)
• Inexpensive ($1) calculator (not labeled with name – for all to share)
• Extra change of clothes enclosed in labeled ziplock bag.
• “Inside” slippers or sandals labeled with name
• Pack of pencils for all to share
• Graham crackers or pretzels or some simple snack for all students to share at snack recess if they haven’t brought their own snack
• We supply cups for students, so they DO NOT need a water bottle.
• I am purchasing 3 special journals for each student for about $6. If possible, please send in $6 to cover the cost of these journals. They will be wonderful memories for the students to keep at the end of the year.

 

 

Second Grade

Fourth Grade

4th Grade Supply List
2010-11

Please send the following items on the first day of school.

For the student (PUT NAMES ON ALL OF THESE):

• WATER BOTTLE to be kept on their desk (Juice and sweet drinks are ok at lunch – but just water for the remainder of the day)
• 1 inch 3-ring binder (vocabulary and notes binder)
• Alphabetical dividers
• 1 folder with pockets and brads (projects)
• 1 spiral notebook (journal)
• 1 composition book (math)
• Slippers, flip-flops, or sandals to be left in class all year
• 1small pencil sharpener
• Student dictionary (the one they took home last year is fine)
• Optional - calculator, ruler (metric and US customary), scissors

Also, we could use any of the following items for the classroom

• Lots of Wide rule notebook paper
• Lots of pencils (yellow #2 sharpens best)
• 1 box of tissue
• 1 bottle of hand soap (or a large refill bottle)
• Expo brand dry erase markers

• Also you could donate old 4th grade level novels, non-fiction books, magazines, audio books, and games.

5th Grade Supply List for 2010 – 2011

Please send these supplies with your child on the first day of school:

• 3 hard cover composition books
• 2 folders with pockets
• 1 piece of poster board (any color)
• 1 clipboard
• 1 glue stick
• 30 – 40 #2 pencils (several packages)
• 2 erasers
• 2-3 Expo markers
• 1 pad Post-It notes
• 3 packages wide-rule notebook paper
• 1 small package construction paper
• A ½-inch or 1-inch three ring binder with 8 dividers (with tabs)
• 1 scissors – 5th grade size
• Colored pencils or markers (sm package is fine) for maps/projects
• A personal water bottle for the year with name on it
• 1 bottle of hand soap – refill container
• 1 package paper plates or 1 package plastic silverware
• 1 empty, clean, clear 2-liter soda bottle

Social Studies/Language Arts:

• $25 for Criterion Online Writing and EOG study programs – Cash or check made payable to MDCS. Give to Mrs. Jobe on 1st day of school or at orientation.
