What exactly does this mean? Right now, it means that a few MDCS staff members have undertaken the design, implementation, and maintenance of our website. All content is generated by the MDCS community. Staff and students took all of the pictures, teachers wrote the copy for their homepages, staff members wrote their own bios for the Meet Our Staff page, students have written copy for some of the pages and of course, they generated all of the student work. Updates are sent to our web development team and they use CSS, HTML, and Dreamweaver to code the pages and upload them to the web server.
We chose to use raw CSS and HTML to create our own templates rather than use web developing software because the pages can be built using MS Notepad and a browser which means that pages can be created and edited from any computer on our campus.
